5 days Treatment as Prevention Phuntsholing

Treatment as Prevention (TasP) is a highly effective option for preventing HIV transmission. To enhance basic HIV knowledge and improve treatment adherence among the people living with HIV (PLHIV), Lhak-Sam provided 5 days of HIV treatment literacy training at Phuentsholing to 23 recently detected PLHIV from high-risk areas (Thimphu, Phuentsholing, S/Jongkhar & Samtse). We would like to extend our appreciation to Pride Bhutan: “Celebrating Diversity” for facilitating a session on SOGIE and STIs. The training was supported by Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB, and Malaria (GFATM).
