Mr. Rohit Adhikhari

Chairperson of the Board

Mr. Rohit Adhikhari has a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. He works under a leading local engineering consulting firm which also operates Bhutan’s only private material testing laboratory. Although from a technical background, Mr. Adhikhari has a niche for business development and administration and therefore manages most of the firm’s bidding process as well as the material testing laboratory. He was engaged in the firm since 2011 as part time and officially from 2016 as full time employee. Under his mentorship, the firm has successfully managed to secure and deliver several projects of national importance. Of late, he is also involved with Sr. consultants for financial modelling of management projects and detailed project reports.

Mr. Rikesh Gurung

Rikesh Gurung is the Founder and managing director of the Green Road, Bhutan’s first plastic recycling plant is working on its objectives of saving the environment by segregating all plastic waste from the landfills in the country, building eco-friendly roads and reducing import of bitumen and investment on bitumen for road construction, and generating employments for the youth in the country.

Rikesh is also the President of the Bhutan Association of Entrepreneurs (BAEyul) and has been awarded with the Best Entrepreneur of the year 2017. He has also been awarded the Asia’s best entrepreneur in Technology 2020 and Global star Change Makers Award 2020. UNEP low carbon lifestyle challenge award 2020 and many other awards. He is also the regional winner and Entrepreneurship World Cup top 100 cohort from 200 countries. His company has built 115 kms of road and reused 650 tons of waste plastics. He is also the founder and Managing Director of AB Ventures, Bhutans first BPO.  Rikesh also sits as board of directors in different CSOs and associations in Bhutan and abroad. He was recently appointed as the Independent Board of director of Green Bhutan Corporation Limited, a state owned enterprise of the Royal Government of Bhutan.

Mr. Rinchen Lethro

RINCHEN LETHRO (Mr.), 33, is the GLOBAL YOUTH PEACE AMBASSADOR (Global Peace Chain & Regional Alliance for Fostering Youth), CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (Padmakara Training Institute), ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR (Bhutan Forest Restoration), PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT (RL Consulting House), and the FOUNDER of RL Franchise Holdings. Besides being the Recipient of the ‘BEST LEADER’ Award from amongst 200+ Delegates from 30+ Countries for the Global Youth Peace Ambassador Program, he is also the QUALIFIER of Business Acceleration Program conducted by The IC2 Institute at The University of Texas at Austin. Additionally, he is a Seasoned MENTOR to Entrepreneurs and an ASSOCIATE of a few International Social Clubs. Rinchen Lethro (Mr.) who possess 10+ Years working knowledge of Training, Counselling, Educating, Social Entrepreneurship, Policy Development, Business Analytics, and Multi-media, etc. has Bachelors Degree from Sherubtse College (Royal University of Bhutan) majoring in Buddhist Literature, Philosophy & Communication.

Mr. Chand Kumar Rai

Mr. Chand Kumar Rai is self taught Bhutanese film maker, who aspires to inspire “meaningful creativity that transcends barriers”. Awarded a certificate of recognition for his contribution to visual story telling by The Queen Mother of Bhutan, Ashi Sangay Choden Wangchuk, Chand has made short films, documentaries, numerous public service announcements on social issues. Chand is currently the head of Rabbit in The Twilight Production and to hope to continue making meaningful movies.

Mr. Ugyen

Board Member

Mr. Ugyen works as a private trainer and consultant in the field of Management & Business. He also holds the position of “Project Formulator & Advisor” at “Centre for Social & Community Empowerment” under the aegis of Pema lingpa Foundation. In his 21 years of service Mr. Ugyen assumed various positions in different organizations. Initially he served as a lecturer at Sherubtse College, University of Delhi, after that he assumed the post of CFO at Bhutan Postal Corporation. From 2010-2018 Mr. Ugyen worked with Institute for management studies and also managed the institute as the CEO at the new campus.
