Currently out of 874 HIV positive cases detected in the country Lhak-Sam has 250 members of which 57% comprises of female. The number of children living with HIV has reach at 40. The members are those who are actively involved with Lhak-Sam for treatment, care and support. They are also beneficiaries of Lhak-Sam’s social support, counselling and trainings. Lhak-Sam is sub recipient of Global Fund mainly to carry out prevention activities, treatment and support for people living with HIV.

He has a broad range of multi-sectoral experience and skills. He is certified as Tourist Guide and has worked as a freelance guide for numerous travel agents. Before joining Lhak-Sam as Project Manager, he worked as a Counsellor at the Rehabilitation Center for Chithuen Phendey Association.

Mr. Tshering Gyeltshen has worked as a Counselor with Chithuen Phendey Association for a period of three after which he resigned to join Lhak-Sam in 2022 as an Outreach Coordinator. He attended several training including Basic Counseling, Psychological First aid, and Mental Health as well as proposal writing and project management. Now he is well equipped with set of skills in counseling and communication.
Mr. Tshering completed his BHSEC from Ugyen Academy in 2011 after which he pursued working with NGO. Community service is more of his passion than his responsibility. He also likes to sing songs, go for hiking and camping and play badminton.

Mr. Kezang Thinley works as a Research and Resource Mobilization Manager. He has about 15 years of work experience at the managerial level in private and NGO. He worked with a research company for 8 years and is well equipped with research methodology, statistics, and data analysis. He first joined Lhak-Sam in a capacity of Fundraising officer in 2015 and was later as a Chief Program officer in 2017. After 2017, he worked in private business company as operation manager.
Mr. Kezang did is Bachelor of science in mathematics, physics, and computer science from Sherubtse College after which he pursued Statistics in Thailand.
